Drawn from Japanese woodblock prints and the pyrrole-orange of an erupting volcano, this series harnesses that single pigment to frame darkness at its deepest — ringing the black holes, forcing limits and shape until the essence of the dark itself is changed. The orange is alive energy; it is also the color I held onto to come through. Passion and home, intense and saturated.
